i have a solid metal chrome plated horse "statue" hood ornament. its not a running horse but rather standing on all four! my father gave it to me in approx 1967-68 new and told me to take care of it. if memory serves me correctly he said it was for a mustang and it was a limited piece or maybe a dealer promo special ....??? ive never seen another anything like it. my father was employed in the greater chicagoland area probably at that time. well,i took very, very good care of it,it's flawless.

For those who have never seen a Mustang with the running horse hood ornament, my 1966 has the original hood ornament on it. Bought the car way back in 1983 when I was 15 and still have it. Will put a picture of the car in my profile, if it uploads correctly.
