that is a great looking notch. Wish I were closer to it...I am in NY. Interesting engine set up with the carb conversion.

think about this....i live in Az...no rust cuz...well no rain. i bought my 67 coupe with a 289 and a 4spd for 900 bucks....its my daily driver, no rust, and runs like a champ, for thanksgiving i drove it 9hrs straight back home and then 9hrs back to where i live, went threw snow and rain and all that other crap. id rather have a classic any day of the week. if ur really considering it look on craigslist.org..............good place to find some amazing deals on classics and foxbodies!!!

That 65 does look nice. The bumper gaurds on up side down. I would rather have the 65 than a fox body. I would really like to have both. The fox for a daily driver and the 65 for a weekend and fair weather car.

thanks for the advice guys. I check Craigslist from Maine to DC at least every other day.

I wouldn't be comfortable driving a car home from florida with an engine transplant...maybe if it were stock...but with my luck I would get to georgia th car would go night night and I would be looking for a transporter quickly. LOL

That 65 is what i would go for, but I am partial to that year Mustang. Car is done and when you get down to it the price is not that bad. Obviously you want to haggle with the guy and see what you can get it for.
Also definitely get under that car and check the frame rails and check the fender wells as well as the inside of the trunk. Make sure you bring someone with you to check the car out and drive it to make sure it goes down the road straight to make sure the car tracks strait.
