My coupe has had 14s, 15s, 16s, and now it will have 17s. I won't go bigger than 17s.

15" wheels rock however the selection of performance tires is so poor its not worth going with them. So...

16" 10-spoke Shelby wheels FTW!

Only 5-spoke would be the Cragers imo.

I agree on the 15s

I'd love to have some 10 spokes, but they are so expensive.

I'm not 100% on cragars, they are nice, but just not for me.

I think I'm going to go with 16" rims when I get new ones, my 14" Cragars right now are a pain to get tires for if I wanted to. I'm a big fan of used tires and this guy I got that does really inexpensive great work rarely gets 14" tires I sure don't want to pay for new ones (nor can I).

I'm not sure which one of those rims I would go with, I'm not necessarily fond of either. Can you fit a 10.5" wheel on the rear of a 67 though? seems like a big wheel for that car...

Is your paint done?

I don't know if I can fit a 10.5 under it. That is why I am going with a 9.5.

I haven't even finished the body yet. I am waiting on eleanor side scoops to show up. It also has gotten too cold here to work on it. It is in primer though, but that is about it. I still have spots to fill in and dents to fix.

I'm also hoping to upgrade the mustang's seats in the next week. Hope to buy a set of Charcoal 99 GT seats. I know they won't match, but the will definitely fell better.

I still vote for the Bullitts that you were going to get.

These are the wheels I bought.

I really like them. What size rim did you get for the rear? 17x8s or the 17x9.5s?

I'm buying this set and I am going with the 17x9.5 for the rear and will probably put a 275/40R17 on them.

They're kind of derivitive for that kind of money too. The wheels are almost too close to several classic wheels to be considered an original design.

The wheels on the rear are 17x8". You can't fit a 9.5" in a 65-6. Besides, you won't be able to rotate them. That means having the front tires broke down, swapped and balanced every 10,000 miles or so. I guess it doesn't matter much if you only put on a few thousand miles a year.

BTW, the car has no motor in this photo.
