Default Getting Rims

I'm going to be buying new rims for the 67 next week and still haven't decided which to buy. I need some help. Does anyone here have 17x9" rim on their 67-68 mustang? I need to know if you had any problems with the front end hitting them. Also what size spacer did you use.

I'm looking at buying 17x9 and 17x10.5 Cobra R rims in Gunmetal.

I'm also considering a set of 17x8 and 17x9.5 Bullitt Style rims in Dark Gray.

17x8 front, 17x9 rear. Running 235/45/17 and 265/40/17. A 1" spacer in the rear makes the aesthetics look better, but it's not required..

I've considered going with a set similar to that, but with 275/40/17 on the rears.

I'd really like to fit a 17x10.5 back there with a 315 tire.

I don't like the look of a 275 tire on a 9" wheel which is why I went with 265s. Almost went with 255, actually.

I'm trying to get a setup of 17x8 and 17x10.5 Black Bullitts. If I can't I'm going to choose between the two I posted about in the first post.

Why, if you are buying new rims, are going to use spacers? Just get the rim with correct offset/backspace and save yourself the cost of the spacers.
