Here is a shot of the dash with the Light Ivy Gold vinyl instead of paint in my wiring stage.. forgive the mess. Did below the gauges first, then over to the glove box, then across to the far side. Only spray the glue on for each section your working. I then tucked the 2 ends in and then used brushable Contact Cement to finish tucking the vinyl up around the bottom of the dash.

 

I absolutely hate how great your interior looks....
