ignition question
i'd do the easy things first:
a) check if you have at least 8V at coil+ with ignition switch in 'on' position.
b) make sure that you have a wire from starter selonoid 'I' terminal to coil+. This way you can be sure you're feeding full12V to coil during start
c) check with timing gung while starting if you actually do get a spark
If you don't have a timing gun, pull one spark plug, put the boot on the plug as if it were installed into car. Get a electronic isolating plyer and hold the bottom (thread) of spark plug against ground. Have someone start the engine. Does it spark?
