Did any of you have trouble installing the power booster for the first time?
I had to bore through 2 retained nuts on and drill an additional hole through the firewall for all the studs to fit through. And this was still a tight fit and a struggle I'll have to finish tomorrow when there's daylight. Hopefully i'm not doing anything wrong...

 

This is normal when converting manual to stock power.

 

It's much easier to take Vice Grips, "Pop" those threaded blocks off the pedal support, versus drilling them out.

They are spot welded on the support on the drum brake cars to provide the threads to secure the Drum Master to the firewall.

These were not added/used on the Disc Brake cars, were open holes.

Yes, you needed to drill that extra hole.

Yes, a very tight fit putting the Factory booster master in. Limited space between shock tower, and front of Master. The Bendix will be Tighter fit than the Midland!

One other thing you will experience. The hole that the booster push rod, boot passes through is a bit bigger for the power Disc cars. You will need to trim a SMALL amount off the top of the hole to keep from crimping the boot.
