66 front brake drum question

Default 66 front brake drum question

66 mustang, 200 ci motor,,,, manual brakes,,,, 9" drums

are the inner bearings on the drums pressed in to help stabilize the drum/brakes??

thanks for help info

The inner and outer bearing races are interference fit, but can easily be replaced with hand tools. Bearing preload is provided by adjusting the retaining nut to specifications.
