Default Reading Material?...

Hey guys, I am looking for some good reading materials. I have a decent base level understanding and ability of cars in general, I went to school for and received an associates in automotive tech, but its only a base level of how to tell whats broken and fix it, nothing on making anything better and how to do it. With that said, dose anyone know of some good books/articles I could get my hands on? I am looking for something on the more technical side of building cars. In depth studies of suspension, breaks, engine, gearing, and overall performance where I can gain a better grasp on how to build cars for various applications.

Thanks,
Brian

Cars in general. If I can learn the principles, mathematics, and sciences behind cars/trucks/jeeps/whatever then I can build a sweet ride no matter what it is (yes even chevy).
