Attaching a brake line bracket to frame?
Not sure I buy the pressure thing. It seems to me it would have more to do with volume. You would need enough volume of fluid to push the air that is caught in the high point out of the bleeder. That would mean all the way down the flex hose and out the caliper bleeder. One stroke of the master cylinder piston would be enough to do that? A pressure bleeder would do it but who has one of those in their garage?
I am installing OEM front disc calipers on 67.
Using 74 maveric master cylinder.
Any suggestions for rounding up thread adapters for master cylinder and for hard lines to flex hose?
67 drum hard line does not fit 67 disc flex hose; not sure of thread specs on 67 hard line exit?
Don't know thread specs of 67 disc flex hose?

Similar to an air bubble in a drinking straw, the bubble will sometimes slowly rise to the top but way too slowly to cause a bleed failure when when everything else is right.
This "problem" where the bubble moves toward the top will be all but non existent with stock 3/16" Mustang brake lines.

Here is the right way to hook up your m/c, you will need an inverted flare tool also, the caliper lines I would have to see to make a recomendation/guess.

Brake line threads can be fun.
67 mustang drum flex hose and 67 mustang disc flex hose threads are almost the same.
Too bad it's not horse shoes.

My 67 mustang came with drum/drum.
Hard line to Flex hydraulic hose connections:
The front hard lines of my 67 drum/drum measure 3/16" OD but terminate with a 1/4" brake line inverted flare male nut with 24 TPI. Hard lines for other 67 mustangs with disc and 67 F100 drum terminate with standard 3/16" inverted flare nut in wheel well. I can connect a 67 mustang disc flex hose or a longer 67 F100 flex hose to my 67 drum/drum with a 3/16x1/4 master cylinder adapter (Edelmann 258430).
I can use original frame to hose bracket with the longer F100 flex hose and 3/16x1/4 mc adapter.
Flex line to caliper threads:
67 mustang drum wheel cylinder inlet port is 3/8" x 24TPI w/ copper washer.
67 mustang K/H 4 piston caliper (posi quiet 142.61005) inlet port is specified as 7/16"-24TPI but is 3/8"-24TPI (sounds like 65 caliper) as received.
Flex line used in my 67 mustang drum to disc conversion:
I am currently using original 67 must drum flex hose because it fits with no adapters and is long enough with no interference issues. I could also use the longer 67 F100 with 1/4 x 3/16 mc adapter. I can not use 67 mustang disc flex hose unless I use adapters on both ends. Would be a different story if calipers were actually 7/16"-24TPI as specified.
