Cool 65 side molding trim

Any tips on removing the side molding on the lower rocker panel area on a 65 Fastback. I removed the screws and it will not slide or pull off. It is the chrome piece that has black stripes in it. Thanks.

After you have removed the screws front & back, you can use a screwdriver with a towel wrapped around the end of it so you don't scratch the paint and wedge it between the body and the molding. It should pop right off. Again take your time & be careful.

If you press downward on the moulding, you should be able to unhook the bottom edge without tools.

I thought it slides off. Looks like it pulls or pops off. I will give it a try.
