Floor pan welding
Hey people-
Ive already started pricing around on the frame work thats going to be done professionally but i have a friend that welds so we're going to attempt to do the floor pans....any comments, advice would help a lot.

Next, just go for it, it is not that hard if done one side a a time. And remember, if it looks like crap, so what! The carpet will hide any mistakes.

I would tack it about every 3" or so, then come back and weld about 1" sections, and let it cool of. The metal will warp if you try to run a steady bead, so take your time and make sure it's done right. Good place to practice in case you ever replace qtr panels

Is it better to buy floor pans that come in sections or a one piece floor pan? my back seat floor pans look like they are still in decent condition, should i just rip out the the driver and passanger ones or is it best to redo it all? thanks!
