First, [sm=welcomesign.gif] to the forum.

Next, just go for it, it is not that hard if done one side a a time. And remember, if it looks like crap, so what! The carpet will hide any mistakes.

Cheers [sm=icon_cheers.gif]

I would tack it about every 3" or so, then come back and weld about 1" sections, and let it cool of. The metal will warp if you try to run a steady bead, so take your time and make sure it's done right. Good place to practice in case you ever replace qtr panels. Good luck, and post pics of the progress if you can.

Pick up the last issue of Mustang Monthly. I think there was an article in there

Do you overlap the new floor pan over top of a portion of the old one, maybe 1", or do you butt the old with the new and then weld it? Thanks

Is it better to buy floor pans that come in sections or a one piece floor pan? my back seat floor pans look like they are still in decent condition, should i just rip out the the driver and passanger ones or is it best to redo it all? thanks!

thank you for welcoming me to this great forum 65_2plus2![sm=thanx.gif]
