How do you replace window felt?

Default How do you replace window felt?

I have a '65 coupe and I am trying to replace the window felt but do not know how to remove the door panel to get to the old felts to remove them. Please help

If they are like mine, it'd almost impossible too without tearing out some clips. Might as well get some patience, or new panels, because you will need one of them. As far as the felt, unmount the window and let it drop into the door. The felt coming off is going to be toast, the new just snaps into place. Bolt the window back in and it should be good as new.

use a putty knife, or a long flathead screwdriver to remove the door panel clips. Resist the urge to pull the panel away from the door, as it will break. Instead, insert the putty knife underneath the clips and pull the knife towards you to pop out the clip. Be careful, the door panels are thin cardboard.
