Ok so when you remove the 2 bolts holding down the shock will the thing spring up at you or will it slowly rise? Is it easy to push back down to bolt back down? I have never dealt with shocks nor held them and am not sure how they work.

It will rise slowly if it rises at all. They are easy to push back down.

Just remember with a shock, the harder your push down, the harder it pushes back. If it pops up quickly or pushes down easily under hard pressure, then it's shot.

dont forget to add 'if it doesnt move at all' lol

when i replaced mine they didnt move at all. i could push the cylinder to whatever position i wanted and it would just sit there cuz there was no oil left / hole somewhere haha.

i have some cheapy monroes on mine for now and they are also blue.

gonna put a new set on at some point this year now that i got the rest of the suspension replaced. So yes i essentially threw away $60-80 on a set of 4 LOL

*i knew the old ones were shot and figured something was better then nothing for a summer

If you want to REALLY tune the suspension, go for TCP's 2-way adjustable Vari-Shocks. 256 adjustment settings, 16 bump and 16 rebound. Make it handle like a new sports car. They're just quite pricey, but typical for a 2 way shock.

I really wish I could afford expensive shocks. I think for now I am going to go with kyb gr2 in the back and kyb gas adjust up front until I can upgrade to some adjustables to get the ride I want

Be careful with using soft shocks on one end at stiff shocks on the other. Soft out back and stiff out front could cause the car to understeer quite a bit. What setup does it have?
