Since one is tipped up and the other is almost flat it look like the end brackets were not welded on square. It it were me I would cut the bar out of the middle at the welds, mount both brackets were they need to go and then fit and reweld the bar in between. since it is a painted bar you can just repaint it when you are done.

I dunno....IMO....buying another bar isn't going to solve your problem (other than you might get one made out of thicker steel)

Your apron ledge appears to be less than a perfect square by itself, you are rubbing on the nut that is bolted in and on the rolled lip of the bar that is well below other parts of the bar in terms of height.

You have an aftermarket hood on the car, swap out the bolt on top for a smaller height one and adjust the hood to sit slightly higher.

I never try to save money on structural parts. Kinda like buying a cheap motorcycle helmet.

I agree. It looks like it has been dented/crushed and attempted to be reshaped.

I would assume that if your export went on no problem your MC bar should also.
Both of mine were off and I had the car jacked up for a few days and the towers definitely relaxed and both went right on.

You've got a inner fender problem, that will have to be straightened out before the bar will fit well.
