Default leaking transmission

car has been up on jack stands for several months without being cranked while i fight other problems, and i've noticed a slow leak coming from the transmission. been meaning to drain it and replace the gasket, so started on that. discovered there was no gasket, but i saw fluid on places above the pan, so not really sure where the leak was coming from, and hard to see much up there. just go ahead and get a gasket and seal it back up, or is there something else to check? i have the radiator out at the moment, so can't really fill it back up and see what happens now that i've got it cleaned off. are there any normal problem spots i should look at?

Cooler lines have a habit of coming loose.

Input shaft seal might be another probability.

Oh yeah I forgot...I know it hasn't been driven for a while but wind can blow oil around and make it above the actual start point...So start with the pan gasket and clean the trans off real good and see if any more oil shows up...Plus being clean will help track it down.
