That was a nice rack and pinion setup. I will be contacting them soon on it. I just rebuilt the 302 and added a dual plane intake and Holley 600 cfm with secondary vac, a motorsports B303 cam, and a cobra spec T5 to replace the original 3spd. We are on the 3rd set of long tube headers trying to make a fit. My car was a late 73 and there were some design changes made and we've run into a few obstacles but nothing that can't be solved so far. I hope. LOL
She's also getting an H pipe and a pair of 2 chamber flowmasters. Oh I can't wait for the first start up! I had planned on a cable clutch for it also but its a no go on mine so for now its staying with the Z bar and I am going to hunt for a reliable hydralic system. I've heard there are some not so good stories on some of them and I want to make sure I get a good one the first time. I really appreciate all the great help everyone gives and I have learned so much reading these forums. I hope to be of some advice to someone on here also with my experiences.

The Heater Box repair ended up being a piece of cake. Much easier then I thought. Got to turn the key for the first time today and the new motor, exhaust, and T5 are running great. She sounds like a race car now! I drove down the interstate today and a guy with a Toyota Tundra with loud exhaust was trying to get me to race him. Too bad it was on her first outing after all this work I would have had some fun with him. hehe.
I think I'm ready for some beautifications now! Thanks to all that helped me through the heater box crisis!

WHEN is that gonna come out!!! Two days ago I sent out emails to goodmark, npd etc etc etc again telling them the cowl has to be the most needed part of any 71-73 redo. I dont know I've ever seen a good one

Give it time they just started making a cowl for the 69/70 not that long ago.But the 71-73 cars get the shaft for most repop parts which makes owning one that much more fun.
