Default 73 Broken Heater Box

I am searching for a new or good used Heater Box for my 73 with factory air.
Does anyone know where to find one? I have looked at several parts supply's and am not finding them on their websites so I am assuming these are not being reproduced. Anyone know? Thank you in advance for any info you can pass along.

You can usually get part or all of the box from Classic Auto Air. What's wrong with yours? Since these are molded fiberglass, they are fairly easy to repair.

I just made one good one out of two for my car because mine basically rotted away. I got them used at a local mustang shop, unfortunately for you that won't help. And you are right they are not reproduced, the only thing i can think of is ebay or a mustang shop near you.

I have my car at a shop having a pretty good bit of work being done. I got an email giving me the bad news. If I can figure out how to upload some pics of the broken areas, I will post them.
the upper case mount to the fire wall is broken.
the second is the lower case to the fire wall that is broken.
then the lower case drain tube connection is broken.
He says he can attempt to repair it but it sounds like there is no guarentee and will cost about $125 to attempt the repair. I get so P.O.'d sometimes as there is so much is not reproduced for the 71-73yrs. I have sent classic auto air a message and am awaiting a reply from them. I kinda wondering if I were to just get a whole new kit from them if it will include the box. That would be nice if it does.

You'd be surprised at what's available. Lots of 71-3 in the Glazier Nolan catalog, and they tell me more is coming in the next issue, like repro cowls.

Thanks 2+2GT! I will check them out. I learned real quick not to toss any parts to my car away before completing the job. I tossed the old rusted out fuel tank and didn't realize the emission device on top was not reproduced and I had to pay a pretty penny to get another one from a salvaged car. The one I got a hold of leaks fuel if I fill the tank full so I just live with 1/2 tank fillings now.

Wow no kidding, cowls are going to be reproduced now? My 71's rusted out and i had to cut apart the whole damn thing and get a used one out of a crashed donor 72. I got lucky and found one. Of course if ind out right after i finish haha.

We are going to attempt the repair on mine now. Classic Auto Air did have one if our repair attempt fails. Thank you Andrewmp6 for the rack and pinion news. That is one of my next projects was to find a rack and pinion that would work for this car. I completely changed the steering and suspension parts which made some improvement but it doesn't compare to the rack and pinion movement. I would love to ditch the giant manual steering wheel sometime.
