65 dash install

Default 65 dash install

does anyone know where i can get the dash mounting brackets for my 65 mustang. Im guessing they are mighty hard to come by being as how the only places ive found them will cost me almost 200 bucks for them.

What brackets would that be? The dash is welded in.

I didn't realize that there were any brackets on the dash bad?

i think hes referring to the stainless trim the goes under the eyebrows??

That's what i was thinking too. If that's the case try National Parts Depot they have them im pretty sure. Heres the link for their online catalog.

i dont think anyone repos them.....i had some of the extra trim i sent with to a member here along with my original radio and he screwed me and claims he sent my radio back

Glazier Nolan has repro 64-65 dash pad mouldings in their catalog, G13872 65 RH lower dash Mouldings, short & long, G13873 65 LH lower dash Mouldings, short & long.

mustangs unlimited has all the repro dash stuff as well. in fact they have just about every thing. were the dash pads original glued down? when i pulled mine it was stuck to the dash and left this foam residue that has been a pain to get off. it like sticky and gooey dunno never seen anything like it. if so how do you get this stuff off.
