$1500/set is a normal price for some of the stock 65-70 Shelby wheels.

you can spend between $60 and $1000 per wheel. just depends on what you want and who makes it. $400 per wheel isn't in any way unheard of. don't forget, you can easily spend that much and more on rubber to go on the wheels.

Look up CCW wheels

You will think $1600 is cheap compared to them.

Nice wheels. Post pics of the 69 vert. I love that car. $1600 for better chromed wheels is OK. Shop this wheel around the internet and you might find the same wheel + shipping cheaper. I got my Cragar SSs that way. Just make sure they're new. If you ebay, you can escrow the payment.

I don't think that is a bad price for the quality you get from Billet Specialties.

That's why I'm just gonna go with a set of generic Jegs wheels, that way if I tear one up it's cheap to replace.

Look at Summit too. The chrome wheels I have on my 67 I bought from Summit. I believe they are $150 a piece now. They are called Legend 5s, and also come in gunmetal.
