cowl question?

Default cowl question?

I am thinking of selling my 67 stang but thats besides the point. Anyway i have a leak in the cowl on the drivers side and is comeing in by the kick panel, can anyone give me an idea of how hard or what cost it would be to fix it? thanx

It's not hard but it's time-consuming. You need to drill out all of the spot welds, then weld in a new lower cowl ($200). If you can't save the cowl cover it will be another $200. If you have a MIG welder to fill in the holes you drilled, it can all be done in a weekend.

Depends what's wrong. If it's rust, it still depends, somewhere between $20 and $2500.
