problem with window slipping
my driver side window on my 67 fastback will roll up and down fine, but after it sits for a couple days, i will find it has slipped down a half inch or so. this is a big problem as im about to install tons of new interior pieces and i have no garage and rain can come at any time in oklahoma, we have weird weather. any ideas whats causing this? maybe just something needs tightening?
could be a busted regulator...They are little rollers that ride in channels if one is fractured or broken the window could sag.
pull the handles off and gently pop the side panel off the door and have a looksie.

Its funny, some sieze up over time and others will wear down the plastic track guides. My drivers door was the same way, while driving it would deciede it was a nice enough day to roll down the windows. (she has a little herbie the love bug in her).
Try replacing the 3 or 4 plastic guides that mont to the window frame and regulator arm. This should bring it back to stock resistance but still smooth up and down.

if we're talking about those small little rollers I once got them from NPD (npdlink.com), quite they have the other parts as well and i'm sure that almost all mustang warehouses carry them (mustangbarn, mustangs unlimited ...., )
in any case take the interior panel off the door to check what's actually broken or missing
