Flywheel Removal

I have my motor out and it is hanging from an engine puller, Want to get it on the stand soon but cant get the flywheel off...Really would appreciate any help or advice...its a 69 coupe 302 by the way..didnt know if that would change anything

Since the motor is out and you have nothing to break the nuts against you need to use an impact. The only other option is to have a friend hold the crank from spinning with a big **** socket anc breaker bar, but most of the time you end up breaking the front bolt loose before you have the flywheel off.

You can hold the flywheel with a large screwdriver or tire tool held between a ring gear tooth and a trans/bellhousing alignment pin.
