Quick Horsepower

First you should spend some time reading up on the cleveland. Heads and nitros would be some of the last things i would do if my goal was quick, easy horsepower. With 4 barrel heads it is rediculously easy to get over 400 horsepower. Long headers, cam and a 700CFM carb and you are there. On 2 barrel heads you are still close to that in power.
The only reason to spend the cash on new heads is if you are building a drag car and want to save the wieght. The thing to keep in mind you havent had the oil restictor install then limit your time above 6K RPM.

If you are looking for meaningful information, you really need to be more specific as to your goals. General questions will get responses that are all over the map and probably won't be very useful to you.
Horsepower wins races, torque makes a car more fun to drive. Are you looking to win races? How much money do you want to spend? Are you aware that there is no such thing as quick horsepower? Engine modification takes money and time. There are no shortcuts.
There is a wealth of information on this forum. Explain what you are trying to accomplish and I'm sure that good information will then come your way.

Also, I'm thinking stuff like ignition, Headers, exhaust, heads. I'm trying to accomplish better fuel economy by getting a better spark to burn the fuel more efficiently. So I also want to try to get her to breathe better which should also help with fuel right? I'm aware that my car isn't going to be the most fuel efficient out there. But I want to make it as good as I can while keeping the power.
