I'm giving it til March to sell, if it doesn't by then I will keep it. If I keep it I am planning on putting an EFI 5.0 in, but I might not have enough money by then so other things might be done. Also want to redo the interior(again) and get rid of the vinyl seats. I did notice that a heidts rear suspension setup is only $1000, so that is tempting as well.

Think I will have just over $1000 to spend, and from what I see the 5.0 swap would be around $1500 if not more.

Find a wrecked 5.0 Mustang that has relatively low miles on it and take the drivetrain etc out of it. Depending on what you can get it for, the swap may not cost as much as you think or it could cost more. I have seen it done for about 1000 bucks, but most spend more than that. If you keep that EFI 5.0 stock it will make things easier and less expensive. I would run some HiPo manifolds with it. That will do better if you don't want to have issues later.

I've considered a fuel cell so the fuel system would be pretty cheap. The main thing is the wiring and clutch setup. All I really need fuel system, and everything in front of the transmission. My 67 already has a WC V8 T5, V8 driveshaft, and 8" rear end.

I forgot you already had half of the swap done. It shouldn't be too difficult to get the rest done, and you probably could do it for 1000 bucks.

Had no offers on it at all, and then that(picture) happened Monday. So far I've ordered over $500 in parts and we still haven't gotten the fenders ordered. I'll also be using my other hood which saves us another good bit.

What mounts did you get? I'm pretty much following in your footsteps, haha.

I bought a set of V8 engine frame mounts for a 64 1/2-70 mustang. They are a set of originals so I know the angle of the engine will be correct. I though I read somewhere on here that the reproduction mounts aren't correct. I also got them cheaper than buying the reproduction.

Exactly like the ones in this auction. This pair is the only one close to what I paid for mine. I paid $88 shipped.

Also I ordered my fuel pump and a few other parts and those should arrive tomorrow. My fenders have been ordered today and should be here in about a week if not less. New front bumper showed up today, and I'm about to start working on my hood.

And from what I can tell I don't have to swap out my I6 radiator because both hose locations are correct. I'm not 100% sure about this, so I'm going to keep looking.
