Also got in my new exhaust pipes yesterday, so hopefully will get that done soon. Changed the oil today as well since I put seafoam in it this past week. It definitely needed it.
Hard to tell, are the rookie stipes at an angle at all? Sounds like you're enjoying all the little mods that make it yours.
Where did you get the metal Mobil sign?

No I don't think they are, but I will definitely make mine angled. I will probably do somewhere around the middle of the fender well and angle them to the front of the wheel. Don't want to have too much angle on them.
I'm actually getting a pair of them, but I will only be installing on the drivers side since that is how they should be. The hash marks were started back in the 60s with the race corvettes. They determined which side the steering wheel was on and which car it was. I heard that the #1 car would have 1 stripe, #2 2 stripes, etc.
I bought the signs at a local swap meet we have every few months. According to the seller the person that produced the hot rod magazine sign lost his license and no more of them are produced.
I might be going to the big swap meet at the Nashville fair grounds on Feb 4th. I know my dad and grandfather are.
I know its probably somewhere within the 36 pages of posts :-) but interested in knowing what size rims and tires - assume they are torque thrusts. thanks
