Exclamation red engine light???

So as I am pulling into my garage this afternoon I see a red blinking light near my dash. Its to the far left near the gas gauge, never seen it before and when it wasn't blinking it looks/feels like some kind of hard plastic ****.

I have a video of it but the light in parking garage is very weak.

If you need better light i can go back down with a shop lamp for better video.
Car is a 65 coupe

Any help would be much appreciated.

looks like from the high quality of the video, to be an aftermarket alarm light to let possible theives know you have an alarm

Not sure about that since I never seen it before and it doesn't blink when the car is off

What way do you turn into your garage? Left turn? Did your bulb come loose and ground against something?

Did you ever notice the **** before?

A nice picture as other said, would be great.

I could be wrong as I have a 1968 not a 1965 but it appears to be something aftermarket or an optional feature.
Just by looking at a few pictures the button/light looks very out of place.

Yeah whatever that thingy is didnt come from the factory at least not in that location...and I further doubt that a factory bulb could have worked its way down there

IIRC, the dealer-installed 65 emergency flasher **** was mounted at the lower left corner of the dash, and had a lighted ****.

I thought the emergency flasher switch was located in the glove box on 65-66. Thats the only way I have ever seen it done.
