Gauage and Headlight issues
Don't you just hate it when you've been working on your mustang all day and when you finally take it out for a spin everything seems alright at first then you start having problems with it?? LOL that seems to happen to me a lot unfortunately.
Last week I went to a buddy's house for a bbq and I brought my mustang to show off, then later on that night when I was getting ready to leave, I turned on my headlights and my gauges lit up but not my headlights. After a while of trying to mess with it, the gauges didn't light up but the headlights did. Today I replaced the headlight switch but, the gauges still dont light up.
I suck at electrical troubleshooting. Anyone else got any ideas??

Pull the switch down again and check that the green w/yellow has power. With the lights on black w/blue should have power. Its the wires labeled 54A and 53A. 53 the blue w/black stripe should be the wire to your dash lights.
Depending on if you have power into or out of the switch we will take it from there. This will divide the system in half to let you know which direction to look.
