Default Glove box Cardboard Install?

Does the heater box have to come out to install the Glove Box Cardboard "box" on a 65 Mustang? Can it be collapsed partially or manipulated to get it in?
I've been working on it for a couple hours, got one up in there, but ony backwards.. Is there some trick or does the entire heater box have to be removed?

I was able to fold it via the creases it kinda has in it to get it up there. Did not ruin it on its way up and works great. Made it much easier to install with the radio out.

The score lines on the box are meant to allow the 64-66 box to partially collapse and be pushed through the door opening. However, you will get a neater appearance if you install the box while the heater is out. I takes about 15 minutes to drop the heater out, so you decide.

I did it with the heater box lowered down.
