Default "Be Cool" is real cool!

I finally got my Be Cool radiator installed into the car. First off, the whole set up was expensive as hell from Summit Racing and it’s not a bolt on operation. With that said, the radiator and dual fan set up is awesome! My old set up couldn’t pull through the AC condenser and my car was always running at 210-220 ish. Now, the fans kick in at 180 degrees and turn off at 150. I can idle all day long down here in the North Carolina heat.

Be Cool, is cool…….

Pics:

I had a guy here weld some aluminum tabs on top to secure the radiator, it's also supported by some posts on the bottom going into the frame.

Two is better than one.

Awesome!
That is a seriously large radiator
have you considered widening the radiator support opening to get more surface area exposed? it looks like you are leaving a fair bit of radiator on the table?

id like to see exactly what you did monsterbilly, im here in mohave valley, near bullhead city, and my wifes 70, with a 302 and r134 complete ac system, will get up to 225 at a light. i have a fairly new 4 row and also bought a new flex fan with more blades than the original flex fan. still would be nice to get it down to no more than 190 at a light with 120 temps.

Here is what I purchased.

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/BCI-80187

It was a bit pricey...looking back now, I could have pieced together the same set a bit cheaper. It got up to 90 here a week back and my car temp reached 180 and when the fans kicked in, it dropped to 150. I absolutely love the system.

I have the AC tied in with the fans so even if the car is not hot, the AC kicks on the fans to pull through the condenser.
