1,4,6 and 8 all look like they have some pretty nasty seepage... Have you been fouling any plugs?

I bought this car a year ago. These are the plugs that were in in when I bought it. All 8 plugs are clean and dry where it matters most.

I don't remember the plugs being especially loose when I took them out, but I didn't have to use a lot of force to break them loose either.

I do remember other bolts being looser than they should have been. For example, all the intake manifold bolts on the drivers side were a lot looser than the passenger side bolts. I also expected the header bolts to be a problem, but they turned easily with an open-end wrench.

I'm kicking myself for not doing a compression test before pulling the engine.
