I sure would like to see the Ford number off the trans to see an AOD that was manufactured in 1965. Got any pics or any other info on the trans?
I take it you've owned the car since new?

Cruise-o-matic, FMX, C4, C6 were all 3sp. trans. with 1:1 3rd gear ratio, OD would be considered <1:1
Ford didn't come out with the AOD until 1980, what model is your trans?

I think I have the ele. Connectors you need. I bought extra ones when I picked them up for my AOD. Would you be interested in them? I would have to look before I commit to actally having them.

Those wires would be used to connect to the firewall wires. What about the end that connects to the AOD? Do you have that?

I bought mine from these guys, http://www.ronmorrisperformance.com. I don't see the harness on there parts list but I would call them to see if they still offer it.

I also have a diagram for you if you want.

That would have to come from a donor car at the local pick n pull or the dealership. I got mine from a donor that has an AOD in it

Ron Morris doesn't produce them anymore. He said he can no longer get the parts to make the harness. Ford dealerships no longer offer the harness either.

At worst i think you could just make the connections individually on the switch side with some sleeved bullet connectors. Maybe someone has one handy to test fit, if not I can get to mine next weekend when I'm home. Best bet for plug and play seems like the JY.
