Default Carb stalling?

I just got my car back from the shop from having the differential rebuilt, and need to take it back in for a transmission leak tomorrow. but now I am facing a new problem. When the car is in gear (and warm), it dies when I let up on the gas..(idle only). Like going around a turn, Stopping or even just putting it in reverse or drive to pull it into or out of the driveway.(Fine in park, not dieing) When I give it gas (driving), it is fine and drives great. If I stop for a second, it dies. I tried turning up the idle and that is no help.
The fuel tank, pump, filters and lines are all new, so I don't think it is a problem with a clog or dirty filter. The only thing i had done to it was have the choke adjusted since it would not work when it was cold... It looks like it is working now and is fully open when warm (when I am having the problem)
The only problem I had when I picked it up, was a slight lag (hickup) when I stopped at red lights and gave it gas. It had a delay, almost like it wasn't going to respond when I would give it gas after the idle at a light.
I plan to have the shop tune the carb, but I need to get it there tomorrow. Right now it will die a couple times just getting it out of the driveway.. Even after turning up the idle to try and keep it going. Is there any suggestions for these symptoms?

try messing with the idle mixture screw to give it a rich condition at idle, that should allow you to make it to the shop without it dying at every stop, then they can diagnose the problem from there

Yeah, could be an idle fuel mix problem.
