There is a radio delete plate use that to cover the hole and mount it under the dash is what i would do or cut the dash.

I got them from Mustangs Unlimited. They cost a bit more than I think they should, but I'm pleased with how it looks. I also covered the package tray in black vinyl. Now they sell them like that in most catalogs.

scootchu's radio setup is what i'm going to do except I'm using the radio delete rather than keep my old broken radio in the dash.

Skip the glove box and just cut the dash and install a nice DIN Pioneer unit with USB and IPod controls.

My dash was already butchered for a crappy tape deck. I decided to just install a single DIN Kenwood. It works very well. I just thought that the retro styled unit would look cool. Is the sound quality really that bad?
