I am upgrading my 7.5" diff to what I thought was a 8" diff from a '69 mustang.

I got everything install, (almost) and found out that the axle was not from a mustang. The hub was 70.6mm instead of 68.1mm like the all the other mustangs drums. The stud holes were correct @ 5x4.5.

I search around and could not find out what brake drums I can use that will fit these axles. Anybody out there have any idea what drums I need to buy to fit these axles?

I think that rear axle is too wide for 65-66. Take a look at this comparison chart.
