these are my favorites
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SC...-51R/?rtype=10

these are my 2nd choice
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SCA-80-1606-61R/

i prefer the first ones because i think they would look really good in my 66. However i like the price of the 2nd ones a lot better. what do you fellas think?

The 1000's are decent, although I prefer the Elites. Skip the racing seats if you intend to put any decent amount of street driving time in.

I prefer the OE seats, they just look the best. I was thinking about getting the TMI Pony sport seats. I also like the foxbody or SN95 seats. Those that NBA has look great. I like them since they look like they could almost be factory.

Here are the Pony seats I like. I'm probably going to go with them at some point.

+1 on the Elite or 1000.

the other Sportsman racing seats are pretenders IMO.
They have side support around your ribs but very little for your thighs and real race seats dont recline!

I'm with Tad on this one - stay away from race seats in a street car. That said, some side support is nice if you like going round corners fast.

You can also buy those elites un-upholstered and take them to a shop for covering. Will cost a bit more but I've seen some really nice results.

I've had the opportunity to sit in the scat 1000's, in a '68, talk about stiff. The bolsters on the sides were hard as a rock. They're obviously meant to keep you in the seat vs. comfort. There's no question they're a good lookin seat. I found them difficult to get in and out of. If you have any "size", you probaby won't like them. Definately not meant for long drives.

Those elites appear to be much more forgiving than the 1000's. How are they for comfort and long drives?
