Default Local Cruise Night

My wife took the freshly painted Stang to our weekly car club Friday night hang out last night.... I can't wait to get home and do the same. The weather was great but only a couple cars showed up, though they told her about a local show tomorrow that she is going to go to... Will post pics from that later.

Default First car show

As promised, pictures of my Stang's first show... Not a Mustang show but some cool old rods and some muscle cars. Really liked the Fairlane that showed up. Only one other Mustang was there, but he wasn't even entered! I think it was a 69.
My wife sent about 80 pics to me, so these ones are mostly my car and a couple nice old Fords.

Good pictures!

There's nothing like a small town cruise night. I live 20 miles from Paris, Texas a town of 25,000. We have a cruise night on the town square first Friday of every month. We park only old cars around the inner square parking spaces and spill over to the outer spaces. This amounts to probably about 40 to 50 cars of all descriptions. It's quite a hoot.

Watch your back and get home to cruise as soon as you can.

When I'm home, we normally go to cruise night just about every Friday. We live in a very small town, just outside Ft Lewis, WA, so there are a lot of old vets (I am the youngest vet there...). There are normally at least 5 or 6 hot rods or muscle cars that show up, but during the summer as many as 20 have shown up. Really a lot of fun. Some of the old timers have started bringing thier grand kids to play with my kids... I swear my youngest daughter is a Mustang nut just like me! I should be home in about 2 weeks, maybe a little less. Can't wait!

so much different then cruise nights here. A "small" turnout would be maybe 50-60 cars and normal cruise might have 100+.
