Tims65 gets 471 fwhp with his 347 so I think 500 could be accomplished

true but tim spends a fair bit of time on a race track with his car.
big hp is a trade off for faster wearing engines and drive trains, poor gas mileage, tires, brakes etc.

dont get me wrong...600hp is a blast to drive but its an expensive trade off.

anything with a bit of torque and around 400hp in a 65/66 car will be very entertaining and let the man use a fair few existing parts to keep the cost down.

everyone's grin-o-meter is different. but I find my car already highly entertaining.
And I wouldn't be surprised if I had no more than 250RWHP (or 300 at engine)

I feel the same way about mine. It puts a smile on my face, every time I drive it or start it for that matter. I think I have close to 300 at the wheels. The motor is just under 350. It can hang with a stock 2009 regular Vette. Actually it came out on top by about 1-2 car lengths. This was from a 0-120. It was the only time the car has actually been raced since it has been on the road again.
