Default Parts car

Hey guys, I am sure this has been asked plenty of time but I'm on a friends phone right now and this is a pain in the butt.

Quick question though. i have a chance to get a cheap parts car for my 1968 i6. its a v8 69. the engine doesnt run but it would be good for other parts. my questionis what is the swapability of the parts i.e spindles, supension, etc. on a 69?

any help would be appreciated. sory for the poor grammar and spelling.

I don't think that a 69 would be a good parts car for you. You really need a 67-68 parts car.

I guess it depends what you need and how much the 69 costs. If its really cheap and you need the engine and trans then you could use that stuff. I don't know for certain if you can use the front discs on not, but I don't think they will swap over.

Spindles, brakes, suspension, axle, driveshaft, engine, transmission are usable, for the most part identical, between 68-69.

Thanks for the input. I can get the car for $350. So if what you say is correct 2+2GT then it could save me a lot of trouble.

$350? That seems like a pretty good deal, but of course that can't be said for sure until you post pictures.
