can i use this clutch cable?

Default can i use this clutch cable?

the car is a 65 mustang with an 85 5.0 and 82 trans. the old clutch assembly wont work cause the car used to be an i6 so my question is can i use the cable off the old 82 car i got the trans from if so how and if not what do i need to make it work.

If you want a clutch cable check out Modern Driveline, Ron Morris, or Mustang Steve. I have the MD cable on mine and am happy with it.

If you don't want to buy one, you may be able to fabricate something to make the one you have work.

You can do it, but like tx65coupe said you'll have to fabricate parts. I just finished this on my 66 and you will need to buy a firewall mount and adjuster. If you buy Mustang Steve's kit you will have to weld or have the quadrant welded for you to your clutch pedal.
