I knew it was going to happen and it sucks, BUT keep going at your own pace. I myself am very task oriented and like a beginning and end. To me this phase seems like it will never end, but it will. It looks great so far!!!

This part is CRITICAL! Based on what your sanding shows it looks like your still finding some high spots. As painfull as it is now the payoff is a lifetime of smiles when you look at your car from any direction and see nothing but a smooth finish.
Mine came out great and I constantly get people who stop and point out "WOW look at the body on this one" at shows, but you better believe I see every little flaw I missed.
I'd give anything to spend 1 more day of blocking and take care of the 3 areas I missed the first time around no matter how sick of soar fingers and inhaling dust I was.
Either way, you guys will be producing a knockout finish product but be ready for the harsh critic...yourself.

Thanks guys for all the encouragement and kind words. It is a very critical stage so we are certainly taking our time to get it as nice as possible for our painter but he will make sure it's perfect before shooting any paint.
Anyways, I got a new hood for the lady. I think it suits her better. This is the Super Snake hood from Southwest Fabrications.

Ok, so after some loooong, hot days of sanding, sanding and more sanding, we were able to finally see the results of all the sweat, blood, and 4 letter words I'm pretty happy with how it turned out but there are still a couple spots that need touched up.

I haven't had much time to be on the site lately but I always look for your thread. Since mine is still waiting to have the body panels put back on I like many am living vicariously through your build. Love the work and attention to detail. I am not looking forward to the sanding process but I know if not done right I'll be kicking myself for years to come.
Love the work and keep posting!
