Better Handling

Does it come complete with leaking hose fittings?
In all seriousness, I drove my car fairly hard for years with the stock 4 wheel drum brakes. After switching to OE style KH discs up front a couple years ago, I feel much more confidant braking into corners at speed. I no longer have to worry about the brakes locking up unexpectedly or the car darting to one side or the other. Definitely worth the expense.

Before you spend any money on parts spend $50 on a good education from some true experts.
Chassis Engineering, Herb Adams
How to make your car handle, Fred Puhn
Read, and reread both until you understand the concepts of vehicle dynamics that apply to all cars, then buy parts.
It will save you a ton of time and money.
Good luck...

well after thinking about it I've decided to do more research into the front brakes. Scarebird offers thier setup for $105, the rest is to me, I've asked for a list so I could find the parts and priced it online for $215, bringing the total up to $320 for disk brakes!! I think I'll squeeze that into the suspension/steering package before hand.
Next I'll be pricing/shoping around for the lowest deal on suspension replacments.

Your car looks nice Man. That sounds great. I like the exhaust setup. Is that Magnaflow?
When mine was still an I6 it had the OE type single exhaust and a transverse Firbird/Camaro muffler with dual out for duals. That was pretty cool.
I think you would really like a front disc brake upgrade like was already said.
If you replace the strut rod bushings don't use poly, get the regular rubber ones.

I have scarebird discs on my 66 and am happy with the results, but I went throug hell getting there.
The calipers on the v8 discs are from an s10 and are a quick fill designs. I could not get a good pedal feel until I used an s10 master cylinder, designed for the quick fill system.
As a bonus, the S10 MC is AL and weighs about 5 lbs less than the cast iron 74 maverick MC.
You may want to search on the citation calipers to see if they require a special MC.
