Default Hello Everyone

Hello, I'm new to the forum and want to say hello. I have a 1966 mustang sprint, that I have been restoring to concours, for the last year and a half. I also am hoping someone can help me find something I've been searching for.

I am looking for an original OEM radiator for my mustang. It's a 6 cylinder with a C-4. I know that I can get after market ones, but I would love to find one with the FOMOCO marking on the tank.

I have scoured e-bay. craigslist, and anywhere else I can find with no luck. All I have come up with is attempted scams, you know the ones overseas, that only take western union.

I would love to find an NOS one, but that I'm afraid may be the impossible dream. If I could find one that is rebuildable, that would be great. I f anyone might have a lead on one, I would be sooo appreciative. I thank you all in advance for any help you might be able to give me.

JMD,

Thanks for the welcome. I appreciate you looking to see if you have one. I know the size would be 16 1/2 or close and 17 1/4 with a thickness of about 1 1/4. I have learned a bit more info. I was told the radiators in the 65 and 66 mustangs did not have the FOMOCo stamp on the tank, Instead they had had "WMO" which stood for Whitier Modine and a date stamp.

I think there might be a chance it could work, because the mustang was a modified falcon in the beginning.

Hello and welcome to the forum. I also have a 1966 Sprint convertible that I've owned for many, many years. Unfortunately, I replaced my old perfectly good, original 2-row core with a new 3-row core after market one several years ago and disposed of the old one. I know you want an original one but you would be much happier with a good 3-row core radiator because they run much cooler than the original ones. Good luck with your search.
