thats what i needed to know thanks uibainme. It turns out , the VES was really a WES and i have a 3.00:1 gear ratio thanks again.

 

you never really know if it might have been changed. lift up the back of the car and count the amount of turns of wheels you have to do until the driveshaft turns exactly once. if the other wheel turns the opposite way you turn yuur side wheel, it's open rear end. if open rear end then double the number.
example: 1.4 turns open rear end->2.8:1
and 3 turns not open ->3:1
etc
