im going to replace both quarter panel on my 67 coupe and wanted to know how much it typically costs for a body shop to do it. i took it to the shop yesterday he said he'll give a price range today or tomorrow but i want to know what to expect.

im not expecting it to be cheap since you do need to remove the top to access the bolts that hold it in place. i asked if he can just chop the panel down the middle and weld one in its place, he said that there were bondo lines all over both panels and he doesnt want to take the chance of cutting em and not finding any clean metal to weld to.
