Hi all,
I was wonder if anyone would have a picture of a stock A code engine or tell me where I can find out what I need to buy like air cleaner and valve covers (chromed?) to start my mod to a A code. My valve covers and air cleaner now are gold. I know about the 4 barrel carb and manifold. Gonna go with stock A code exhaust manifold. I want to keep the mod stock looking.

i believe the A code would look just like a C code. i think.

The A code is nothing more than a C code with a 4 barrel carb and intake. Since you have gold valve covers, then you have a 65 289. Be sure the air cleaner is also gold, but with a black snorkel and black dip stick and oil cap.

I think he's talking about the "K" code dress up kit in chrome! It's the same valve covers as the Gold ones, but justed chromed! Luarel Mountain Mustang in PA has them at the best prices I've seen! I'm going to order them myself, and those who never delt with Luarel Mountain Mustang, great people over there.

A code = nothing special except 4 barell carb
