Default Sheet Metal

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has a suggestion for a website or store for buyin sheet metal for a 67 convertible? I live in south western ontario canada (30 min from Port Huron Michigan) so far looking on ebay and other random google searches, the parts ive looked at so far (drunk floor + drop down) the cost to ship is about the same as the part itself...just looking to save some money!!
thanks

I usually bought anything that could be shipped UPS from NPD (npdlink . com). Anything that required truck shipping, I bought from a local guy. The cost was a little more for the parts, but I saved a lot on the truck freight. Find a local Mustang shop (mine is 75 miles away) for the big stuff. I also ended up buying a lot of the smaller stuff from him as well.

I get mine from metalsdepot.com. Good selection...no minimum orders and the stuff allways shows up mint (no creases, bends or even surface rust)

pay attention to what you buy because not all panels are created equal. if you're doing the work yourself, pay for good panels, they weld nicer and cleaner because they're thicker. you'll hear the term, the panel may need "massaging" to fit properly. Horse pucky! almost every single panel i've bought required significant adjustments to fit properly. i've spent a heckuva lot more time fitting my panels then actually welding and finishing, so be prepared. the better panels definately fit better and weld better, but they cost more.
