Default 66 wiper motor

I had to send my motor off to get it rebuilt because i couldnt find anybody that sells the model for the 64-66 stangs.

I sent it to a company in Philidelphia for $200. I get it back and it still dosent work but it was painted silver. I took it apart and it didnt even look like they took it apart. It still had the broken rotten seals inside. I paid $200 for a paintjob on my wiper motor.
I am sending it back and will let you know how it turns out.

Has anybody else been able to find these motors new or rebuilt?
From what i understand these were only used in 64-66 models. I wonder if they were used in any other models?

Quick search on google:

Looks like $200 was a load of bullsh*t to me.....

Somebody who has used parts, such as Glazier Nolan, would sell you a decent used one for a lot less than $200.

Do you have the 1-speed or 2-speed?

Thats a good point I left out. I linked a 1 speed, so that might not fit your needs....

Mustang Unlimited has single speed (40211) and two speed (260A) motors at very reasonable prices.

Yea I have the 2 speed. I have been able to find the 1 speed but nobody makes the 2 speed. I have sent an email to Glazier to see if he has any. I have found used ones on ebay and craigslist but have shyed away from them cause there is no gaurantee they will work. I thought rebuilding would be the best way to go but this company is making me regret it.

Yeah, I had a generator rebuilt years ago, local shop did a nice job, new bearings, field coils, etc, even rewound the armature.

Sounds like your shop is a lemon, though.

Don't do that. I seriously doubt if they can get it right the second time. Eat the loss and move on, take the suggestions of the other posters.

Yeah I agree. In my opinion, sending it back is a large mistake.
