Default Spark Plug Wire Choices

I'm looking for some black spark plug wires that will work well on my 302 with Pertronix distributor. I would like to route them down around the front and to the sides of the valve covers. If nothing else I would like to be able to use the retainers on top of the Powered By Ford valve covers. I currently have the Accel super stock in blue. They work well, but a couple of wires don't fit in the retainer very well.

probably best off to buy a cut to fit set. 8mm

there's a start, you can narrow it down further with boot type at distributor and angle at plug

Thanks Kalli,

A couple of people have suggested these stock look black ones from Pertronix.

i have pertronix cut to fit wires (blue) in mine and happy with them
the one you posted does not look cut to fit, but stock size.
I am not sure if you can route them the way you want.
You could maybe check with the ones you already have (if they are long enough to reach #4 and #8 cylinder)

I LOVE cut to fit wires, because I can run them however I want, I have used MSD cut to fit on all of the cars that I want to look good, but I really like to bring the wires around the front on Fords though.

These Ford Racing 9mm wires are already cut and assembled to the correct length - http://www.summitracing.com/parts/FMS-M-12259-M301/

I have them in Red on my engine and think they route great!

Thanks for sharing the picture. I do like the look of them around the front, but I don't like the bulky look of the bigger 9mm wires. I had them before on my F150.
