Default C4 Tranny issue

Hi

Well today we were going to put the engine back into the car yet the tranny just acted up. When putting the toruqe converter on all the way i cant spin it and before we took the engine out i had it out before (this is part of another problem for another day) and i was able to put converter on and spin it just fine to line up the holes. Well now like i said i cant turn the converter and i know its on all the way because we put it on then spun it till it went in further meaning it was in far enough. I dont know why its locked up but the only thing we did was have new seals put in it and we replaced the pan gasket and the filter by ourselves. Any ideas? Thanks!

When installing torque converter three things must line up: Input shaft, stator support and pump. Rotate tc back and forth till drops all the way in. The tc hub must rest inside bell flange; verify w/ straight edge.

When u removed the input seal did a piece break off and fall into the pump gears. Sound's like there is something wedged into the pump. The torque converter hub is the last thing to slide into place when installing the converter. Pull your pump and see if the gear's have something wedge in it.
